Debra Moore will be presenting at the ADDA-SR 25th Annual Conference on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
- 2:45 – 3:45
- Beyond the Chemistry: Non-Medical Issues in Managing Medication: ADD individuals who incorporate medications as part of their treatment plans know that some issues—such as monitoring medicine for effectiveness, establishing an optimal dosage schedule, and communicating information clearly to prescribing physicians—may present confusing challenges for some people. This workshop offers methods for managing the many complex aspects of medications that may arise AFTER the prescriptions have been written!
- 4:00 – 5:00
- ADD Time Zones: When Can We Get Stuff Done? When it comes to time management, ADD individuals tend to have two “time zones” during which they can actually achieve their objectives: Immediately OR At The Last Minute. Unfortunately, Immediate chores are often mistakenly slotted for the last minute, and Last Minute tasks may be miss-handled immediately. This lively and pragmatic workshop examines the distinctions of each time zone and reviews strategies for making the best use of each of the zones.
